Helldorado Days ’11

The 77th Annual Las Vegas Helldorado Days Rodeo starts Thursday, May 12. This four day event last until Sunday, May 15th and is presented by The Elks. Come enjoy the beautiful weather and have some fun in the spirit of the Old West. The rodeo site is located on Stewart and 6th, just one block down from El Cortez. Each night will have a unique theme:

Thursday, May 12: Cowboys for a Cure. Make sure to wear pink this night in support of breast cancer awareness. Helldorado has partnered with local Susan G. Komen group and 50% of each ticket sold this night will go to the local office. There also will be a booth at the rodeo selling specialty items where 100% of the profits are donated. Come support a fantastic cause and have fun doing it.

Friday, May 13: Mayor Oscar B. Goodman and Mayor Pro Tem Gary Reese will be honored this evening as they will be leaving their offices this year with the City.

Saturday, May 14: The Elk’s will honor new incoming Hall of Fame nominees, and a parade will be held prior to the rodeo. Parade starts at 7pm and is held on the downtown 4th Street parade route, two blocks from the rodeo grounds. There will also be fireworks launched from the top of the Fremont Street Experience parking garage at 9pm.

Sunday, May 15: This final night of the rodeo will honor and pay tribute to our military and local veterans.

As long as we have space available our Valet would be able to assist you with parking your motor home in our valet lot. If you plan on coming down for the Helldorado event parking will be very limited due to the large amount of people that will be here. If you have any questions feel free to post them or you can reach us directly at 702.385.5200
